The role

Our Norwegian team is looking for an Area Sales Manager who will be part of building and running our retail operations. Through your customer-oriented approach and understanding of each customer's unique needs and preferences, you are a support throughout the entire customer journey. At ZEEKR, we build strong relationships with our customers by offering outstanding service and guidance throughout the chain. Internally this role will be known as Area Sales Lead.

This is what you will do most of the time:

  • Build and maintain our retail operations in Norway, ensuring their needs are understood and met.
  • Set and achieve retail operations sales targets that contribute to ZEEKR's overall revenue targets.
  • Conduct market analysis to understand trends in the retail sector, identify new opportunities and stay one step ahead of the competition.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with other departments within ZEEKR, such as Sales, Service and Logistics to ensure smooth operations.
  • Organize/Providing training and support to retail staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively sell the manufacturer's vehicles. This could include product training, sales techniques, and customer service training.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback and market trends, providing valuable insights to ZEEKR management.
  • Ensure that all activities and transactions comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.

To be successful in this role you should demonstrate:

  • A customer-oriented approach with a strong understanding of sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Experience of leading regional sales teams focused within the automotive industry, ideally for an automotive OEM.
  • Solution oriented with the ability to analyze problems and explore different types of possible solutions.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, you are used to working in teams and with colleagues from different departments.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of independent thinking and analytical ability.
  • Excellent presentation skills and skilled in negotiation.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as fluent in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written.
  • Degree in Business or similar is a nice-to-have.
