For our Food and Beverage department, we are now seeking both a Sous Chef and a Pizza Chef for our restaurant Matbaren. Matbaren is an exciting concept under development at Norefjell Ski and Spa.

What Are We Looking For?

Sous Chef

We are seeking a Sous Chef with a creative spark, someone who loves to challenge conventions and is passionate about leading a team to new heights. As a Sous Chef at Matbaren, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our menu, work closely with our talented Head Chef and F&B Manager, and guide the team to always perform at their best. Your creativity and passion for food will be the foundation for creating unforgettable culinary experiences. The position is of permanent character.

Pizza Chef

We are in need of a qualified Pizza Chef for our restaurant Matbaren. Initially, this is a seasonal position, but permanent employment may be considered for the right candidate. At times, the pace is fast and the workload heavy, but it is also exciting and offers development opportunities. The main focus is on serving pizza, but there is also a simple à la carte menu that you will be expected to handle.

Upon hiring, a complete job description will be provided, along with an overview of your responsibilities and expectations.

  • Experience in a similar role or demonstrated strong leadership skills
  • Certified Chef (Fagbrev)
  • Team player
