A leading consulting firm specializing in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) is seeking a highly experienced Principal Engagement Manager to lead client engagements and drive business growth in the Nordic region. This role demands fluency in a Scandinavian language and a proven ability to deliver complex consulting solutions while fostering strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
The Principal Engagement Manager will act as the primary liaison for senior client stakeholders, establishing trust and ensuring long-term collaboration. By understanding client business objectives, they will tailor EPM solutions to meet strategic goals effectively.
Project Oversight:
The role involves overseeing the end-to-end delivery of EPM projects, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The manager will be responsible for risk management, issue resolution, and ensuring that client expectations are met or exceeded.
Business Development and Growth:
This individual will play a pivotal role in identifying opportunities for account expansion and new business acquisition. They will lead the development of proposals and collaborate with internal teams to devise strategies for market growth within the Nordic region.
Thought Leadership and Innovation:
By staying abreast of the latest EPM trends and technologies, the Principal Engagement Manager will provide clients with forward-thinking insights. They will represent the company at industry events and contribute to its reputation as a leader in EPM consulting.
Qualifications:
Educational and Professional Background:
Candidates must possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related discipline. A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in EPM consulting, with a focus on managing large-scale projects, is required.
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in leading EPM platforms such as Oracle, SAP, Anaplan, or OneStream is essential.
Language Skills:
Fluency in Norwegian and English is mandatory for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
Personal Attributes:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills. They should excel in navigating complex organizational structures and possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
