Full stillingsbeskrivelse

Company Description

House of Control is a leading technology company focusing on developing innovative solutions within Contract Management, IFRS 16 Reporting, and Compliance Management. Our Software-as-a-Service solutions tackle important, time-consuming, and professionally challenging tasks for CFOs, finance, and controller departments. With our solutions, our customers gain full control and visibility over their obligations and assets, ensuring better financial management and profitability.

We are part of the Visma family, one of Europe's leading software companies. Visma has strong expertise in areas such as development, technology, architecture, processes, and security, from which House of Control benefit and are also a part of. Knowledge in these areas is gathered in so-called HUBs, which are accessible to everyone in the Visma family. This sharing of knowledge contributes to high quality deliveries and ensures that competent professionals are always available when needed.

Our solutions fit well into Visma's system portfolio and are continually developed to build integrations with Visma's core products, aiming to provide the best possible user experience. Our goal is to stay ahead, simplify, and optimize our customers' workflows through industry knowledge, cloud-based tools, and advanced technology.

Culture

We take pride in promoting a positive and collaborative culture at House of Control. We value qualities such as a willingness to influence, genuine engagement, and - perhaps most importantly - humor. We are the "Yes Team" that believes in helping and supporting each other; we have an environment where new team members have the opportunity to shape who we are and who we become. Our headquarters in Høvik serves as a social arena, where we cherish moments such as gathering by the ice cream counter for a refreshing treat.

The job, in short

Our Product, Technology, and Security Team (the POTUS team) consists of skilled professionals dedicated to delivering cutting-edge software products and services that meet and exceed customer expectations. We are now looking to strengthen the POTUS team and are seeking two experienced senior software developers/architects who will play key roles in the product development and delivery process.

If you're looking for a workplace that encourages collaboration, personal growth, and a cheerful atmosphere, then House of Control is the place for you. This position will be based in Høvik, Stockholm, or Trondheim, depending on where you live. Some travel should be expected.

Job Responsibilities

Lead software development projects from concept to implementation, ensuring they meet high-quality standards and delivery deadlines.

Actively participate in the design, architecture, and implementation of complex software systems.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to other members of the development team.

Explore new technologies and frameworks to optimize performance, security, and scalability of our products.

Collaborate closely with product management and stakeholders like Customer Success, Sales and Finance to identify requirements and define solutions that fit the business needs.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices, including Test Driven Development.

Contribute to further developing the application architecture, focusing on independent services or modules, each with its own delimited area of responsibility (microservice architecture) and APIs.

Manage and address Technical Debt throughout the development process by identifying, evaluating, and prioritising debt items to continuously improve the quality of code and the system.

Occasionally participate in a cross-functional "Customer Innovation Team", to ensure a deep understanding of the customers' needs and their implications, as well as identify solutions that both meet their needs and focus on good UX.
