We are seeking an experienced Team Manager to join our HR team and to elevate our recruitment strategy. In this operational leadership role, you will inspire, engage, and develop our European recruitment team to ensure their growth and success. You will lead efforts to deliver top-quality, targeted processes that meet the needs of our business and candidates. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of successfully leading diverse teams and the ability to manage and motivate team members both virtually and across multiple locations.

As the Team Manager, you will execute our talent attraction strategy, enhance our employer brand in local markets, and ensure a positive onboarding experience. This approach will ensure that not only technical and professional skills, but also behavioral skills and values are aligned with our company's vision for future success. By fostering a supportive and dynamic environment, you will be pivotal in driving excellence in our talent acquisition strategies.

About the People Resourcing Team

HR in Region Europe has undergone a transformation to become a robust organization, positioned to deliver professional HR services and partner with the business to support Yara’s ambitions and strategic goals. Through four areas of expertise, Regional Operations aims to drive harmonization of services, processes, and tools while focusing on continuous improvements to elevate Yara Europe to the next level.

The People Resourcing team oversees the employee lifecycle in Region Europe, covering Recruitment, Onboarding, Employer Brand Management, Separation Management, Employee Retention Management, and Workforce Management.

What you will do

  • Oversee regional People Resourcing processes, including employer branding, recruitment, onboarding, workforce management, and retention.
  • Lead and empower the People Resourcing team to support employees and managers, providing guidance, and optimizing processes.
  • Ensure team development and continuous performance improvement.
  • Maintain and enhance the recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Design and improve training for people managers in collaboration with the People Resourc-ing team.
  • Foster diversity, equity, and inclusion in all processes.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive HR initiatives and ensure compliance with local legislation.
  • Manage data accurately and efficiently, ensuring GDPR and HR compliance.
  • Review and analyze data to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure that systems, tools, and processes are adapted to achieve desired outcomes.

What you contribute

  • Higher-level degree with strong talent acquisition and market knowledge
  • Minimum 8 years of HR leadership experience from an international environment
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills to develop and guide team members
  • Comprehensive understanding of recruitment, onboarding, employer branding, retention, workforce planning and diversity management
  • In-depth knowledge of GDPR and HR compliance
  • Experienced in data analytics and familiar with relevant tools and systems
  • Excellent feedback and communication skills, with the ability to quickly adapt new technology and sourcing trends
  • Ability to optimize and harmonize processes, capable of paying attention to details yet seeing the bigger picture
  • Strong relationship building skills, experience in matrix organizations, and familiarity with unions and works councils
  • Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written, additional language skills are an advantage

The position reports to Director Regional Operations, and the preferred locations are Oslo, Brussels, and Vilnius, but we welcome candidates from any European location to apply.
