Assignment Description

• We are looking for a person to fill the role as Electro Package Responsible for the Yggdrasil Power from Shore (PfS) project.
• The main purpose of the role will be follow up and quality control of the package deliveries from the main contractor within civil electro (auxiliary installation in buildings) to the PfS Project.
• Typical systems are normal and emergency lighting, lightning protections, overall earthing, fire protection, HVAC etc.
• The role will be a part of Client Onshore Engineering Team.
• Report to Onshore Engineering Manager and support in decision making.
• Review technical documents from engineering.
• Secure technical requirements are met and support necessary technical decisions and approvals.
• Make sure the design is in accordance with relevant rules, regulations and requirements and make recommendations for change where necessary.
• Ensure that technical solutions are developed and aligned with client and industry best practice.
• Participate in the risk-based follow up of contractor’s deliverables to ensure deliveries in line with scope of work, budget and schedule, and that the deliverables are in accordance to life cycle information (LCI).
• Contribute to planning and executing EIT packages follow up activities.
• Secure that Inspection and Test plan within the civil discipline are met.
• Follow up discipline requirements and interfaces in procurement packages.
• Interface Management across all delivery lines within electro.
• Contribute to design solutions that meet the HSE and Working Environment (WE) expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience within electro discipline, preferably linked to projects.
• Experience from oil and gas development projects.
• Experience with one or more project delivery lines will be valued (engineering, procurement processes and construction management, HSSEQ).
• Good technical & multidiscipline overview.
• Language; English and Norwegian.
