Nel is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist committed to upholding our recruitment standards, enhancing our employer brand, and ensuring a continuous flow of talented candidates. Based at our Skøyen, Oslo office, the employee will own full-cycle recruitment for positions in Norway and across Europe. Reporting directly to the CHRO and collaborating closely with your U.S. counterpart, they will refine and execute Nel’s hiring strategy while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.


Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Own and execute full‑cycle recruitment (A–Z) for all positions in Norway and across Europe, partnering directly with hiring managers, the Chief Human Resources Officer, and our US Talent Acquisition counterpart.
  • Uphold and continuously refine recruitment standards, ensuring compliance with local labour laws and alignment with global best practices.
  • Drive proactive talent sourcing and pipeline building to maintain a steady flow of qualified candidates for current and future needs.
  • Champion employer‑branding initiatives: create engaging content, strengthen our social‑media presence, and represent the company at career fairs and industry events.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience by providing clear, timely communication and gathering feedback at every stage of the hiring process.
  • Advise hiring managers on role scoping, job descriptions, compensation guidelines, and structured interviewing techniques.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics (e.g., time‑to‑hire, pipeline health, candidate satisfaction) and present actionable insights to the CHRO.
  • Optimize and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure data integrity and leverage automation for efficiency.
  • Collaborate with your U.S. TA counterpart to share best practices, align global initiatives, and support cross‑regional recruitment projects.
  • Lead continuous‑improvement projects within the TA function, evaluating new tools, processes, and assessment methods to enhance quality and efficiency
  • As we are a small and collaborative team, you will also contribute to general People & Culture initiatives as needed

Key qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Resource Management, People & Culture, Human Capital / People Analytics, Industrial-Organisational Psychology, or a related business discipline.
  • Solid operational understanding of recruitment processes and systems
  • Tech‑savvy and adaptable: proficient with standard tools, and quick to master additional technologies.
  • Interest in HR analytics and how to apply metrics
  • Some experience in HR, recruitment, or administrative role (internships welcome).
  • Proficiency in English is required, both written and spoken, in addition to good Norwegian skills
