MEKO Group is investing in its Commercial Vehicles (CV) division to become the leading partner for CV workshops across Northern Europe. As part of this journey, we are now seeking a strategic and hands-on Group Category Manager - CV to build and lead our cross-country CV product portfolio with structure, passion, and precision.

With strong brands like Mekonomen, MECA trucks and BilXtra, MEKO operates in eight countries and is committed to maintaining and repairing vehicles while promoting sustainable vehicle ownership. Listed on Nasdaq Stockholm since 2000, we are a growing and profitable company shaping the future of automotive services.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our CV assortment and become part of a European success story, creating lasting impact for customers, partners, and the entire MEKO Group - across Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, the Baltics, and Poland.

Your Mission

You will own and develop the CV product category strategy across MEKO markets, ensuring we offer a competitive, reliable, and profitable assortment. You will work closely with local category teams and central stakeholders to harmonize the product portfolio, optimize supplier choices, and ensure execution excellence in each market.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and lead the cross-country CV product category strategy - with a strong focus on market fit, competitiveness, and growth.

Build a well-structured, scalable assortment across MEKO markets - balancing central synergies and local requirements.

Collaborate closely with local CV category managers and help create a clear, coordinated setup across countries.

Define the strategic roadmap for CV suppliers - including Tier 1, Tier 2, and private label - in alignment with MEKO’s growth objectives.

Monitor market trends, OE developments, and competitor setups to ensure best-in-class product selection.

Drive the commercial enablement of your categories: ensure the right tools, product knowledge, and sales materials are in place.

Manage key supplier relationships to ensure consistent quality, availability, and commercial terms across all MEKO markets.

Act as a strategic counterpart to MEKO Group Purchasing for CV-relevant suppliers.

Coordinate product launches and ensure successful internal rollouts and knowledge transfer.

Contribute to building a strong CV catalogue structure and ensure alignment with the needs of CV professionals.

Be a visible driver of excellence in CV category management across the group.

What You Bring

Requirement of at least 5 years’ experience in the commercial vehicle (CV) segment, preferably within aftermarket or product/category management in the Automotive Commercial Vehicles sector.

A structured and strategic mindset - combined with operational drive and commercial sensitivity.

Ability to work cross-functionally and internationally - across sales, category, logistics, and support.

A customer-focused attitude with a good sense of what CV professionals and workshops truly need.

Confidence to lead projects and inspire others without formal authority.

A collaborative mindset with strong communication and presentation skills.

Experience with the Aftermarket Business and OE / IAM suppliers is a plus.

Fluency in English is required; other Nordic or Baltic languages are a plus.

Why Join MEKO Group

This position includes a reporting line for local CV Category Managers across MEKO countries, complemented by a dotted line into the respective country organizations. The role sets priorities, drives strategic focus, and provides guidance to ensure coherent execution - while maintaining close collaboration with local teams and respecting operational realities.

Preferred location is in one of MEKO head quarters in Helsinki, Oslo or Odense, but we are open to candidates based in or other MEKO locations in Finland, Norway or Denmark.

We offer you the chance to shape a high-potential business area within a growing group. You will have senior visibility, freedom to act, and the opportunity to build something lasting. If you’re ready to make your mark and grow with us - we look forward to hearing from you.
