Join Mover as we expand into the Norwegian market!

At Mover, we’re revolutionizing the logistics industry. As a Danish scale-up technology company with IKEA as a partner and shareholder, we’ve already reached operational profitability. Our 80+ talented professionals are making a real impact in an industry crucial to both the global economy and environmental sustainability.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re expanding our service to the Norwegian market and looking for a proactive and hands-on Operations Manager to lead our daily operations and scale our success. This is your chance to join a high-growth tech company that’s not only redefining logistics but also making a meaningful difference.

As our Operations Manager, you’ll take full ownership of our contractor and driver operations in Norway. Based in Oslo and working closely with cross-functional teams in Copenhagen, Amsterdam, and Belgium, you’ll ensure we deliver outstanding service, maintain regulatory compliance, and scale processes that support both our customers and our long-term ambitions.

This is a rare chance to shape something new from the ground up - building structure, driving performance, and putting operational excellence at the core of our Norwegian journey.

THE JOB

As our Operations Manager in Norway, you will:

  • Attract, onboard, manage, and retain a highly motivated fleet of contractors and drivers.
  • Oversee all contractor and driver aspects of daily operations across various Norwegian sites.
  • Ensure compliance with Norwegian regulations and Mover policies.
  • Track and improve service levels and operational KPIs.
  • Support customers and build long-term relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement by refining processes, submitting system and feature requests, and updating documentation (including SOPs).
  • Collaborate with the Market Entry & Expansion, Solutions, and Fleet teams.
  • Contribute to market growth and ensure quality standards are met as we expand.
  • Manage local employees by fostering an engaged team culture, ensuring proper staffing, training, and performance management in line with company values.

This role is ideal for someone ready to blend hands-on operations with strategic oversight and process development in a fast-moving environment.

ABOUT YOU

You’ll thrive in this role if:

  • You speak Norwegian and English fluently – crucial for working with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
  • You have a driver’s license and (sometimes) enjoy being on-site early mornings to manage ramp operations.
  • You’re proactive, energetic, and hands-on with a resilient mindset.
  • You have a strong problem-solving approach and remain focused under pressure.
  • You have experience in logistics or transportation (preferred) and managing a team.
  • You’re excited by working in a scale-up/start-up environment where change is constant and learning is continuous.

THE PACKAGE

  • A front-row seat to one of the most exciting logistics scale-ups in Scandinavia.
  • A role with significant ownership and the ability to shape our Norwegian operations.
  • A competitive salary based on your experience and skillset.
  • A collaborative, innovative workplace focused on personal and professional growth.
  • The opportunity to make an impact while working across borders - and have fun doing it!

OUR CORE VALUES

Lead with integrity – We believe that integrity is a reciprocal value – it means treating others as we wish to be treated. With respect, honesty, and sound ethics.

Be accountable – We embrace freedom in decision-making, initiative, and actions while accepting full responsibility for outcomes and results.

Push boundaries – We challenge norms, innovate, and move fast to drive changes to continuously improve things for everyone affected by our products and services.

Play, as a team – We are serious without taking ourselves too seriously, and balance having sun with achieving great things, together.

READY TO MOVE?

If you’re excited to take on this challenge and be part of a company that’s transforming logistics, we’d love to hear from you! Apply today to help shape the future of logistics.

We’re excited to receive your application! However, due to the summer holiday period, our response times may be a bit slower than usual. We’ll make sure to get back to all applicants as soon as possible - and no later than after the holidays. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
