The world needs to increase the amount of renewable energy to battle climate change. Glint Solar is an Oslo-based startup accelerating the growth of solar energy by making it fast and simple to find the best solar project locations.

Solar energy is growing at a tremendous rate, but reducing early risks and making data driven decisions from the start is increasingly crucial for solar developers. Our innovative software allows solar developers to identify suitable areas of land and analyze the potential power production from the area in a much quicker way than what’s currently available. Our goal is to drastically speed up renewable energy adoption by making it fast and simple to develop solar projects, in order to accelerate what we call the Solar Revolution.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a growth-minded Account Executive who will help us scale international sales and ensure strong customer engagement. Our ideal candidate will take ownership of the pipeline and is excited by the opportunity that ambiguity creates. As a startup, it is imperative that our team be adaptable as we continuously improve our product and processes.

Responsibilities

You will work closely with CCO Even Kvelland and the rest of the commercial team in building and converting our sales pipeline.

  • Own the entire sales cycle: identifying relevant prospects, booking first meetings, performing value-driven demos, negotiating and closing
  • Driving consistent demand through outbound sales motions including: cold calling, emailing, LinkedIn, and in-person meetings
  • Build and manage a growing pipeline of opportunities across diverse regions, including in brand new market
  • Ensure consistent maintenance of data quality in the CRM system, including dependable deal metrics for accurate sales forecasting
  • Drill down to understand the customer’s pain points and how we may solve them
  • Establish credibility through a consultative sales method and build relationships across the solar industry
  • Demonstrate a proactive mindset to sales and scaling by testing and implementing new approaches, working cross functionally with marketing, customer success and product colleagues to continually learn and improve
  • Attend conferences and trade shows


Qualifications

  • 3-7 years of relevant B2B sales experience where you have exceeded sales targets
  • Strong track record of selling internationally with a genuine interest in understanding a diverse target audience
  • Collaborative spirit both within the commercial team and across to our friends in the product team
  • Experience with CRM (we use Hubspot) and sales analytics
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written English and ideally high proficiency in one or more of the following languages: German, French, Polish, Spanish, Italian
  • Experience or interest in renewable energy
  • Roll up your sleeve-mentality where you take pride in being a team player and contribute where needed
  • Have the right to work in the EU/EEA
