About the Role

The Nordics Financial Controls team ensures timely and accurate reporting of the Nordics P&L and Balance Sheet and provides insight about regional developments. You will be part of a dynamic team working on various initiatives to scale up the Finance function, and have the opportunity to build out monthly analytics and provide insight to management.

Responsibilities

  • Key direct report to Group Financial Controller
  • Management of a team of 3
  • Ownership of Nordic P&L and Balance Sheet
  • Support Nordics and Group audit process
  • Manage banking relationships
  • Deal with Nordics tax and compliance topics
  • Ensure Group accounting guidance is followed
  • Support of various ongoing projects
  • Drive operational improvements in respect of revenue recognition and purchase to pay

Qualifications

  • >5 years post qualified experience
  • Solid accounting knowledge
  • Prior team management experience
  • Relevant degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
  • Experience of managing teams
  • Track record of implementing strong financial controls
  • Understanding of lead to cash, record to report and purchase to pay processes
  • Familiar with local tax and compliance
  • Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent
