The team, position & mission:

Public Cloud Delivery Norway oversees the local public cloud portfolio, drives, and grows the Public Cloud contracts and facilitates effective resource management for successful, high-quality deliveries that drive excellent customer satisfaction. Our primary goal is to acquire new clients ('logos') while maintaining and growing in the Norwegian Public Cloud portfolio.

The unit oversees and manages local deliveries within the workspace areas: Collaboration & Productivity (Office 365), Cloud Managed Device (Intune), Managed Application Delivery (Liquit), Managed Identity & Access (Entra ID), and Cloud-hosted Desktop & Apps (Azure Virtual Desktop). For this position, we are looking for someone with experience in, and who wants to work with Azure Virtual Desktop.

In your new role as an advisor and consultant, you'll collaborate closely with our clients and various departments to craft tailored solutions, facilitate workshops, and spearhead projects aimed at fulfilling our clients' strategic objectives. This position is part of our newly established department, reflecting our commitment to expanding our service offerings and meeting the evolving needs of our clientele.

Your key areas of responsibility as Senior Consultant:

• Consult customers with Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Manage multi-tenant setups for large accounts.
• Develop the Digital Workspace using DevOps.
• Participate in projects.
• Integrate with customer teams to provide development, automation, and operational capabilities.
• Combine Cloud Architecture and engineering best practices to develop scalable and reusable solutions.
• Provide 2nd or 3rd line support to customer teams and end users.

As an ideal candidate you have:

• Experience working with Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, PowerShell, MS Graph).
• Understanding of AD and Azure Active Directory (Entra ID): Apps, Access Management.
• Experience working with Managed Services / DevOps.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience with AVD.
• C1 Advanced Norwegian Level.

For this position, we are looking for someone who has excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate has a client-centric approach and strong documentation and time management skills.

It is not a requirement, but other preferred qualifications would be:

• AZ-140: Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty.
• Working experience in Microsoft 365 / Office 365: Intune, Licenses, Exchange Online (shared mailboxes, dynamic and static distribution lists), and Teams.
• Experience with DevOps methodologies.
