The Functional Controlling team of Business Partners covers all financially relevant aspects with regards to the various units, i.e. Operations, Commercial, Finance, Tech, People & Culture, Product, and a couple of others.

We are looking for a motivated

Business Partner Functional Controlling (m/f/d)

(unlimited, full-time) Join our team at our location in Verl, Baden-Baden, Berlin, Varberg, Stockholm or Oslo – flexible working conditions available

Your main responsibilities:

  • You take care of all financial planning & analysis topics for the assigned function-/s
  • An integral part is the forecasting for all relevant functional costs splitting into products to enable a holistic Profit and Loss transparency
  • Building upon the monthly cost center data (actual / budget comparison) you develop a critical view on the cost development and value-added to assess and support the financial performance. The financial assessment is in addition supported by the tracking and reporting of additional non-financial KPIs
  • You have a sound process understanding of the various functions and feel ready to discuss relevant performance indicators outside of Finance with responsible leaders independently. For this task you identify, gather and quality assure the relevant data with the help of available IT tools
  • Collaboration with other Finance teams, manage ad-hoc requests and questions from stakeholders in an efficient and supportive manner

What you should bring:

  • You have succeeded in business-related studies and have gained minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience within finance, management accounting and / or controlling
  • Preferable experience of SAP FI/CO or other ERP systems as well as BI-systems, for example SAP BW / Microsoft Power BI
  • Fluent English skills are a prerequisite as well as an experience in handling MS Office products, Excel in particular
  • Interest in the combination of numbers and people with a communicative and collaborative approach
  • Being proactive and finding creative solutions is easy for you as well as discussing these ideas with your colleagues
  • As a person, analytical thinking paired with a hands-on mentality comes easy, which helps you in guiding decision makers to judge options based on facts
  • You are having fun acting in an ever changing environment, facing challenges together with cross-functional and international teams
