Job Title: Live-In Dog Carer / Travelling Assistant

Company: Arvantis Talent Solutions (Specialists in Hospitality and Private Households)

Eligibility: European passport holders only

Role Overview

Arvantis Talent Solutions is seeking a dedicated and professional Live-In Dog Carer / Travelling Assistant to support a principal with three active, medium-to-large dogs. The role involves ensuring the dogs’ daily wellbeing through interactive play, walking, tracking, and foundational training, while also supporting the principal with errands and daily logistics.

This is a hands-on, immersive lifestyle role that requires frequent international travel and the ability to relocate often. The principal moves between cities — primarily across Sweden, other parts of Europe, and the United States — every few months. You’ll be part of a small care team but must also be highly independent, adaptable, and comfortable taking initiative.

Key Details

  • Location: International — frequent stays in Sweden, across Europe, and the USA
  • Mobility: Willingness and ability to relocate every few months
  • Duration: Full-time, permanent (minimum 3-year commitment)
  • Start Date: Flexible, but ideally as soon as possible

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the daily care, safety, and wellbeing of three medium-to-large dogs
  • Engage in walking, structured play, scent tracking, and light training
  • Assist the principal with errands, logistics, and household tasks
  • Provide full-time live-in care during periods when the principal travels without the dogs
  • Be proactive and solution-oriented in making the principal’s life easier and more efficient
  • Follow clear instructions and adjust smoothly to changing priorities
  • Work closely with two other dog carers while maintaining autonomy when needed

Schedule & Working Conditions

  • 5 days per week, including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts
  • Live-in requirement during periods of the principal’s absence
  • Frequent travel and relocation every few months
  • Long and demanding days — this is not a conventional 9–5 job but a lifestyle-based position

Candidate Profile

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 1 year in dog sitting, dog walking, or basic dog training
  • Experience with active, medium-to-large breeds preferred
  • Physically fit and comfortable managing large dogs
  • Calm, adaptable, and effective in unpredictable environments

Professional Qualities

  • Discreet, professional, and respectful of privacy
  • Polished personal presentation and grooming
  • Highly reliable, punctual, and organised
  • Positive, collaborative, and solution-driven

Requirements

  • Valid European passport
  • Valid driving licence
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts
  • Minimum three-year commitment
  • Comfortable with full-time international travel and frequent relocations

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: €2,500–€3,500/month (based on experience, reviewed post-probation)
  • Accommodation: Provided — shared with other assistants, when available. When not, a housing allowance will be offered
  • Annual Bonus: Discretionary, equivalent to one month’s salary
  • Travel: All work-related travel expenses covered
  • Other Perks: Opportunities for growth, salary reviews, and long-term stability in an exceptional international setting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 29,400.00kr - 41,200.00kr per month
