Good Place to gain experience

It's not the same company it was twenty years ago. HR is impossible to talk with, everything is done via email. Lots of pressure from unrealistic expectations. Very good place to learn technology if you have the desire and are prepared to work long days, nights and weekends

Great team

The job includes interaction with customers via calls or chat. I feel supported by my colleagues or management everytime I need help. 4day week so that I can enjoy three days off.

Poor management

Management will prevent upward mobility within your job role. I would not recommend someone working here. Constant pay structure changes, upper management is not in tune with day to day customer service.

Not bad

Enjoyed working here for a few years. Most customer were cool and coworkers but the company changed A LOT of things within one years time and it was overwhelming. Tellers had to train to open accounts but no incentives were given

Fantastic Managers & Culture

Expectations are high but they are very clear and the managers are just the best of the best. They will coach and role-play with you to help you achieve your goals. As a banker you'll be holding appointments, taking walk-ins, and doing what's needed. They try to keep bankers off the teller line which is nice. I worked there almost 5 years - best managers & lead tellers I've ever had and I helped out in 6 branches besides my home branch (mostly due to covid). Culture is fantastic. Very fun, laid-back and inclusive environment. Coworkers were the best I've ever had. The hardest part is upset customers but you'll have that anywhere. And I promise, your leadership and coworkers will make it worth it.

Great benefits

Benefits are great. Pay was on the lower end going into supervisor where employees under me made more money. They were great with being flexible if you had to change yours hours

Stable career

Working at chase has been a great experience but be prepared that you will get decent computer training but not much “in the role” training. The pay and benefits make it work it.

Productive,fun

Loved this company. Can't say enough. Work life balance is superb. Management is super nice. Benefits are very very competitive. This is the only company I am looking forward to staying for the next years.

productive and family like environment. They really care about your growth and want you succeed but at their terms and not yours. If you are fortunate to work with a great team your work life would be very productive

silos

the place is so huge and fragmented you are always working in a silo. Mortgage doesn't know what card is doing who doesn't know what auto is doing, etc.. The place is fat with unnecessary duplication and management doesn't want to hear it because it would jeopardize their mini empire.

Productive, Competitive and exciting

One of the best company to work with, the salary was good, had great time with team members from all over the world. Learnd a lot about lots of different things.

Hated it

This is the worse customer service role one coould work. Low pay and micromanaging at its fullest. Think twice about coming to work in this building. They are just trying to keep the doors open.

Great place to work for, management is poor

Chase is a great company to work for as far as benefits and paid time off. However, the current department that I work in has horrible management. The unfortunate thing is, it was not always that way. Over the years changes were made and people who are not qualified were made managers. If you can find a position to work for that is not customer facing that’s great. There is a lot of opportunity to move around within the company if you apply yourself.

Good Place to work would be better with some improvements

JP Morgan Chase is a good place to work. The people are friendly and the training is great. There needs to be more accountability for certain departments. Not all departments are held to the same standards. Depending on the department you work in management is great.

Laid back environment

Room for advancement, ever changing procedures for job, management is decent, 6 months raises based off performance, more hours of PTO and vacation time than received by other employers, hourly wages are good.

Overall, I have had a good experience at Chase. They care for employees, but there is just so much they can do to take care of employees. They do monitor everything you do, even if you are performing at a high level.

This is the premier firm to work for but compensation is a major issue. HR need to pay employees market rate unless the have no other choice than to leave.
