Good pay and benefits. I loved working for this company. They had great advancement opportunities. I started as a cashier and quickly worked my way up to district manager. My first district manager assignment was in Cheyenne Wyoming and then I was promoted to a position in Denver Colorado

Conocophillips is slowly liquidating itself, i.e., by selling off operational assets each year to pay current liabilities. The company's management is the weakest in the E&P sector.

I have interned twice, and now work full-time for ConocoPhillips IT Organization. The recruiting process, on boarding, and Rotational New Hire Program are some of the best practices I have encountered in my professional career. The culture of the company is driven by its core SPIRIT values, and deeply motivated by Diversity and Inclusion efforts. Management is open,, transparent and truly embodies our core values from top down. Career development is strongly supported, but is a bit slow moving due to somewhat strict time on the job requirements.

The ConocoPhillip Algeria was a multicultural company that accepted all differences and made them think like one, we had fun we knew people with different religions and cultures but we liked working with them.
Was contract labor..and had site lead person Harrased and belittled and act outwardly rasicist to me in front of people of color cause he was Portarican and a over paid tool bag who should have stayed managing the zoo..they promote fairness and safety and at the same time use those tools to punish and terminate those they dislike or company's they want gone
Totalitarian managers, lack of understanding and respect for those doing the work. Especially in certain technical fields. People skills are atrocious at certain levels. Technical understanding of managers borders on complete ignorance at times.
Filled with snakes worms and weasels who think they know everything under the sun yet they know nothing of how oil is actually extracted out of the ground.

The job was rewarding until one day management work up to find that they had no plan to replace dwindling reserves of oil and gas. There are many departments which often pull in opposite directions.

You feel like you're just a tiny part of a huge system.
Company culture is fractionated—business units don’t always work together, and can be at odds. The lower level employees were great, but mid-level and senior management was focused on cost above all else. Pays lip service to safety culture, emphasizing it where it isn’t that critical, cutting corners where it can be.People are generally great, but internally competitive group to group.

Typical day at work very scream, if meet to your Supertendent.
Very difficult to sign contractor invoices.
Management too strong nepotism culture and very slow to pay invoices, more than 3 month.
The company is a great a great place to work in and social environment where to grow quickly in career. Lot of trainings, promotions and travels and.

Enthusiastic safety culture with an emphatic field presence. Training courses offered to ensure competence on every level. Dinners and lunches to ensure employee morale remained positive and upbeat.
Collaborative, challenging meaningful work, awesome rewards. Respect up down all around, it was great.
Safety first is real there, the journey to 0 is serious. Would love to work there if the economic situation turns around and they were able to hire me.
Great people and policy's in place. Overall one of the best places I have worked so far. Management is best at working with you to help solve problems and accomplish goals.

The company allows new graduates to lie on reports to improve their monthly performance statistics with full knowledge “ patting them on the back in full sight” while the remaining staff is truthful and gets chastised for their performance. Directors pick favorites and overseas long term employees which creates adverse relations within their departments. Chronic changing of rules and plans without advising those impacted which once again causes deception and instability within the departments and more. With a constant whirlwinds every 18 - 36 months causes chronic unrest and instability from the bottom up.
Love my job but the owner is a real piece of work..... He yells and puts down his best employee in front of customers and refuses to reward anyone and will not give raises managers make the same as cahiers that is unfair considering his manager is the one doing all the work, trash stocking inventory ordering invoices computer data entry etc. While he just sits on his phone. But what do i know im just a tax id number
