About the position
Vard Electro is expanding into new markets as we are developing new advanced products to bring the future onboard. We are hiring the right person to strengthen our sales capacity and competence, and are looking for candidates with international experience in sales of maritime electrical systems and products.
This position holds lots of opportunities for the right person. You will be traveling globally and be responsible for your own market and clients. As an important part of our sales team you will be responsible for your own customer portfolio, leading the sales process from initial contact with customer until signed contract and hand over to our strong Vard Electro project team.
Sales Manager reports to Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing.

Key information
Duties and responsibilities
- Participate in creating and follow up Sales & Marketing plan for both the employee and the company
- Visit customers worldwide, follow up leads and attend exhibitions and conferences
- Create calculations, quotations, and technical specifications for the sales opportunities
- Provide input on Specifications and feedback to our Product Managers
- Issue contract documentation and negotiate with customers
Qualifications
- Higher education as Technical school or bachelors degree
- Extensive experience with maritime electrical systems is an advantage
- Experience from international Sales and Customer relations
- Good skills in Office programs
- Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and oral
