About the position

We’re looking for someone who can identify what people need, then work with our IT team to make it happen! This role combines Business Analysis with Change Management responsibilities, ensuring that change requests are properly vetted and managed throughout the process.

As an IT Business Analyst you will be part of the IT Governance team within the IT department. You will play an important role in understanding business needs and turning ideas and requests into well-documented solutions, whether through improving existing systems or implementing new services. You will work closely with colleagues in the IT department, external suppliers, and business stakeholders to help ensure that our IT systems and services are efficient, secure, user-friendly, and aligned with the needs of the business. In this role, you will contribute to Demand Management (understanding and prioritizing new requests), Change Management (verifying change requests for completeness and approval readiness), and Business Analysis. You will be involved in the early planning and prioritization of IT initiatives as part of strategic planning, and you will support various project-related activities across different departments. The position reports to IT Change and PMO Governance Manager in VARD Group's Digital Innovation & IT department.

The position can be adapted based on your experience. Potential Senior candidates will focus more on leading the pre-project/analysis phase of projects, including stakeholder engagement, early planning, and supplier alignment while continuing to support as a Change Manager. The role can also be tailored to suit junior candidates.

  • Translate business needs into structured and understandable input for IT solutions and present Demands during Demand Management meetings.
  • Verify change requests for completeness and approval readiness, and chair Change Advisory Board meetings
  • Understand and analyze user challenges and improvement opportunities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to define goals and potential solutions
  • Contribute to the architectural design, development, and implementation of new systems and applications
  • Document clear and actionable business requirements
  • Analyze business processes and data to identify improvement opportunities
  • Contribute to or lead Requests for Quotation (RFQ) processes
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and IT teams
  • Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets

Competencies you posses

  • Experience as a Business Analyst or a similar role
  • Experience in gathering business requirements and specifications for the design and delivery of IT systems or services
  • Knowledge of change management and project management

  • Good analytical and strategic skills
  • Both self-driven and a team player; adaptable and flexible
  • Structured and thorough

Why choose us?

For the right candidate we offer an interesting opportunity to be part of a highly dynamic and knowledge driven sector, to develop and implement digital solutions in a global organization. You will get the opportunity to utilize internal business and process knowledge in collaboration with the best IT vendors, in building great solutions.

  • Positive benefit package
  • Competitive pension scheme and insurance package
