About the position

As a test engineer at Admincontrol, you will play a pivotal role in our collaborative and great working environment. Your daily tasks will encompass teamwork, testing, and test management, continuous learning, and advocating quality in all phases of the software development life cycle.

We deliver a highly secure platform that balances quality, performance and usability. Our SaaS platform is built on a Microsoft stack. We use front-end technologies like Angular, PrimeNG, and NgRx. Our web and mobile applications (for Android and iOS) are supported by various APIs and services. Our tool stack includes but is not limited to Jira, Zephyr, Leapwork, JMeter, RestSharp, Appium, NUnit, Microsoft Visual Studio, GitHub, Azure and NUnit.

Responsibilities and tasks

• Planning, executing, monitoring, and maintaining manual and automated tests
• Requirement analysis and refinement—promoting transparency, testability, secure tests, and test basis using representative synthetic test data
• Collaborating effectively with the team (architects, developers, infrastructure engineers, product owners, UX designers, and other test engineers) to deliver the best solutions for our users
• Continuously building competence in tools, technologies, and techniques
• Participating in agile testing and contributing to shift left and CI/CD

Skills and experience

• Formal Computer Science education; relevant experience can compensate for the educational requirement
• A technical edge with experience either from test analysis, unit/integration testing, API testing, contract testing or test automation
• Good understanding of web applications and databases
• Good understanding of SQL Server and SQL queries
• ISTQB certifications
• Experience with Jira and GitHub
• Experience with Microsoft Azure (Azure Monitor) is desirable
