Are you passionate about making an impact in the Chemical & Pharma industries? At GEA, we’re looking for a motivated and skilled Area Sales Manager to join our Nordic Separation & Flow Technologies team, based in our conveniently located Oslo office in Nydalen.
Your duties and tasks
As an Area Sales Manager, you’ll be at the heart of building strong relationships and driving new growth opportunities. Your focus area will be products within separators & decanters, and homogenizers. This is how your role will look like:
- Drive sales by generating requests for quotations and building a robust sales pipeline
- Foster and strengthen relationships with current customers while actively pursuing new business
- Represent GEA at trade fairs, ensuring customer satisfaction and promoting our brand
- Actively manage prospects in CRM, tracking activities, and maintaining detailed reporting
- Lead pre-sales efforts, prepare proposals, negotiate, and close deals
- Travel within your territory to engage customers (up to 70%)
Your profile
- Experience in capital goods; familiarity with GEA products or experience in, Chemical or Pharma industries is a plus
- A degree in process, chemical, or mechanical engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency in CRM tools and confidence in working with international clients
- Fluent Norwegian and English
You’re technically savvy and commercially driven, with a proven record of sales success. You excel at relationship-building, have a strong business sense, and bring analytical skills to your planning and organization. Independent and results-focused, you’re ready to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
