NordicEPOD is on the lookout for a dynamic Finance Manager. NordicEPOD a manufacturing firm that specializes in the fabrication and integration of standardized power modules designed for the data centre industry —this presents a prime opportunity for a finance leader ready to make an impact.

About this service

This position is a direct recruitment, which means that the recruitment process is carried out through Bravura Norge, and you will be employed directly by NordicEPOD. As the company received key investment from CTS Nordics (dedicated data centre design and build company) and Eaton (global intelligent power management company), representatives from both sides will be involved in the interviewing and selection process.

Main responsibilities

As the Finance Manager for NordicEPOD, you will helm the finance function at the manufacturing and assembly site in Norway, close to Oslo. You will be leading the finance planning and accounting team, while you will provide strategic guidance and unlock opportunities to enhance business performance.

Your role will focus on driving improvements across all finance processes, ensuring quality, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic business strategies to optimize margins through comprehensive portfolio analysis and collaboration with operational teams. Setting long-term objectives to mitigate margin risks will be essential. Additionally, you will provide insightful forecasts and strategic guidance to support the achievement of short- and long-term targets.

As a Finance Manager your responsibilities will be integral to achieving financial success and strategic goals within the organization. Managing all RTR, OTC, and P2P processes, you will ensure seamless management and compliance. Moreover, your focus will extend to driving continuous enhancements across finance processes, systems, and overall business efficiency. Through these efforts, you will contribute to sustained growth and operational excellence at NordicEPOD. Your role will also include following tasks:

  • Commercial Support: Contribute to the commercial process by supporting deals, leads, and strategy.
  • Cashflow Management: Enhance free cashflow through effective management of working capital and capex.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all business processes comply with local laws and manage timely statutory/regulatory filings and returns.
  • Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, driving actions from audit findings.
  • Board Reviews: Conduct quarterly reviews with board members.
  • Matrix Navigation: Efficiently navigate a matrix environment and influence key stakeholders.


Qualifications


  • Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or a related field; additional qualifications such as ACCA, CMA, or ACA are advantageous.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience in corporate financial management, particularly in project/assembly production environments with multi-country operations.
  • Possess proven knowledge of US GAAP and Norwegian GAAP reporting guidelines, alongside expertise in internal controls.
  • Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in Norwegian or Swedish preferred, reflecting adaptability to diverse cultures.


These qualifications are complemented by proficiency in SAP, Oracle, and other finance IT systems, as well as a track record of successfully implementing IT solutions in finance processes. Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills are essential for effectively leading diverse, matrixed, and virtual teams, influencing key decision makers.
