About the Role

Lead by our Chief HR Officer, our team roles are a mix of subject matter experts (SMEs), partnering and operations roles. Our vision for the future is to have a strong focus on employee experience and operational excellence. We strive to be more agile and to be a key contributor to the overall success of EcoOnline.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a senior partner to the leadership team (ELT) and their functions, understanding business challenges and opportunities and aligning HR strategies to drive business outcomes.
  • Lead change initiatives within the organization, providing guidance on organizational transitions and supporting leaders through change ensuring minimal disruption and maintaining employee engagement.
  • Oversee the talent management processes including succession planning, leadership development, and performance management to ensure a pipeline of capable leaders and employees.
  • Be a trusted advisor for employee relations issues, providing coaching to managers and employees, ensuring that issues are resolved efficiently and in compliance with the company policies and legislation.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to leaders and managers enhancing their capabilities to lead teams and drive business success.
  • Build strong partnerships across the globe and locally to support the delivery of People programs and annual People related cycles e.g. pay review processes, performance review cycles, etc.
  • Actively identify local compliance gaps, proposing and implementing changes as necessary to cover and minimize risk.
  • Monitor changes to local employment legislation and make policy and compliance updates as they apply to the business.
  • Participate and support in employee engagement activities.


Qualifications

  • BSc in HR or related field or equivalent HR qualification
  • Proven track record and experience working across Norway, Denmark, Finland and Sweden and up to speed with relevant legislation and practice.
  • Experience overseeing and successful execution of payroll.
  • Experience of partnering with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to identify issues, propose solutions and drive resolutions
  • Commercial acumen and ability to minimize risks.

Additional Skills:

  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and MS Office suite.
  • Data driven decision making to prioritize people priorities.

EcoOnline has a flexible workplace policy that allows you to work both from home and in the office, however this role requires you to work 2 days from home and 3 days in office. We want you to be able to do your best work no matter where you are. We emphasize providing many ways to support our team to do their best work, and we believe that if you look after your people, they look after everything else!
